Supplier Sustainability Risk Assessment
Identifying Risks, Building Trust, Ensuring Sustainability
The Group values strong and lasting relationships with our suppliers. Our Supplier Sustainability Risk Assessment is designed to identify, evaluate and manage potential sustainability risks across our supply chain.
By taking part in this assessment, suppliers help us:
- Encourage ethical and transparent business practices
- Support fair labour and human rights standards
- Minimise environmental impacts
- Build long-term, sustainable partnerships
This process applies to all new and existing suppliers across WTK’s diverse business segments.
How the Assessment Works
Each supplier shall comply with the following spirit of the Code in supplying products/services:

Identify Relevant Suppliers
The Group identified suppliers and contractors relevant to its key business activities and sustainability risk exposure.

Select Business Segment
Suppliers were assessed according to the WTK business segment they support, including Plantation, Food, Tapes and Timber operations.

Complete Sustainability Assessment
Suppliers were requested to provide information on key sustainability areas

Review & Assess Results
The Sustainability Department reviewed the responses, evaluated identified risks and documented the assessment results for follow-up and improvement actions where required.
FY2025 Assessment Results
The Group adopts a risk-based approach to assess sustainability risks across its supply chain, focusing on environmental and social aspects.
In FY2025, selected suppliers were assessed on areas including environmental compliance, waste management, labour practices and occupational health and safety. Results were reviewed to identify areas for further monitoring, engagement and improvement.
Supplier Monitoring and Visits

The Group monitors supplier performance through a combination of desk-based reviews and, where appropriate, on-site visits as part of its supply chain risk management approach.
During FY2025, selected supplier visits were carried out to gain a general understanding of suppliers’ operational practices, working conditions and alignment with relevant environmental and social standards. These visits complement the Group’s sustainability risk assessment process and provide an avenue for engagement with suppliers on areas for improvement.
