W T K Holdings Berhad ("WTK") and its subsidiaries ("the Group") have an established presence in the oil palm cultivation business, including upstream oil palm plantation and downstream crude palm oil mill operations. Seven (7) oil palm plantations spread across Sarawak, Malaysia, with a combined planted area of 27,000 hectares, are primarily located in the Betong, Miri and Limbang divisions of Sarawak. In 2024, the Group's plantations reached a record high of 231,000 MT in fresh fruit bunches (FFB) production, marking a 34% increase compared to the previous year.
| Total Planted Area | Hectares |
| Betong | 4,494.69 |
| Miri | 11,501.53 |
| Limbang | 1,313.66 |
Note: Data as of 31 March 2025
The Group operates two crude palm oil mills: Biogrow City Plantations Sdn. Bhd. and BioBest Venture Sdn. Bhd., each with a processing capacity of 30 metric tonnes (MT) of fresh fruit bunches (FFB) per hour. In 2024, the Group achieved a record production of 54,000 MT of crude palm oil (CPO) and 11,000 MT of palm kernel (PK), representing increases of 20% and 10% respectively compared to the previous year. Of the total CPO produced, 73.6% was certified under the Malaysian Sustainable Palm Oil (MSPO) standard. The growth in CPO and PK output during FY2024 was primarily driven by increased production at the newly acquired BioBest Venture Sdn. Bhd. mill, supported by a higher volume of FFB received from both the Group’s own estates and third-party suppliers.
On average, 61% of the FFB processed at the mills was sourced from the Group’s own plantations, with the remaining 39% supplied by third-party plantations. The mills achieved an average oil extraction rate of 19.7% and a kernel extraction rate of 4.1%, resulting in the production of 54,000 MT of CPO and 11,000 MT of palm kernel (“PK”).

The Group seeks to enhance the value and marketability of our oil palm products. All of the Group’s oil palm plantations and palm oil mills have attained Malaysian Sustainable Palm Oil (MSPO) certification. The MSPO Certification Scheme is the national scheme in Malaysia for oil palm plantations, independent and organised smallholdings, and palm oil processing facilities to be certified against the requirements of the MSPO Standards. Achieving MSPO certification highlights WTK’s efforts in supporting sustainability practices across the oil palm supply chain. It is a national aspiration towards production of sustainable palm oil which is in line with the national agendas. The MSPO certification scheme encompasses the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs) for sustainable development that addresses environment, social and economic aspects. While encompassing UNSDG’s, MSPO certification scheme incorporates the elements of Environmental, Social and Governance inside the MSPO Standard. The Group applies best practices in environmental care and social management within our operations.
